Wendy Silverstein /

Bookkeeper

Wendy has lived in South Florida since 1973.  She began her career as an Internal Accounting Department Manager for one of the “Big Eight” accounting firms then located in Coral Gables, Florida.  After several years, Wendy decided to transfer her accounting skills from the CPA firm to a large law firm in Coconut Grove, Florida and it was there she found her career niche.  Moving to Palm Beach County in 1994, Wendy’s years of experience reach across a broad spectrum of practice areas including commercial litigation, commercial real estate, land use and environmental law, and even immigration law. Wendy began her current role at Mathison Whittles in July 2023 supporting the Firm’s back-office accounting and administrative processes. She greatly enjoys her interactions with the Firm’s clients and is always available to answer billing or accounting questions.  While not buried in numbers, Wendy spends her time at home with her family, her pets and her orchids, periodically volunteering with local animal rescue organizations.  Additionally, Wendy volunteers her time as a devoted county election poll worker for the Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections. Every other year, as she has for the past 25 years, she volunteers her time on weekends and on Election Day to work at various poll locations throughout Palm Beach County.  Wendy derives immense personal satisfaction from this work as it allows her to interact personally with the diverse group of people who live in our community.
